England captain and Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane confirmed on Tuesday, November 3, an agreement to extend his contract with the German club until the summer of 2029. The words of the 33-year-old footballer were cited by German sports journalist Florian Plettenberg.

According to Kane, negotiations with the Munich management went successfully and the parties only have minor technical nuances to settle.

We had very positive negotiations. The contract extension is inevitable, only a few minor details remain to be settled.

At present, the player's representatives and the club's management are finalizing the paperwork. The official signing ceremony and public announcement of the deal are expected later this week, while the team prepares for the UEFA Champions League fourth-round match against Atletico Madrid and the continuation of their Bundesliga campaign.

Kane joined Bayern in August 2023 from London's Tottenham, becoming a key player in the Bavarians' attacking line. Last week, the English forward was awarded the prestigious Ballon d'Or for 2026, beating Lionel Messi and Lamine Yamal in the voting.
