Republican Donald Trump has won the US presidential election, securing more than 270 electoral votes. Victories in swing states, including Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, proved decisive.
Kamala Harris conceded and congratulated her rival. The Republicans also won a majority in the Senate.
Trump will become only the second president in history to return to power after a break, after Grover Cleveland in the 19th century. The inauguration is scheduled for 20 January 2025.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan congratulated Trump and expressed hope for the development of Armenian-American relations.
