US President Donald Trump has announced that the American military struck three Iranian nuclear facilities, in Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan. According to Trump, the sites were "completely obliterated".
B-2 strategic bombers with bunker-busting bombs were used against the underground complex at Fordow. The operation followed more than a week of Israeli strikes on Iran.
Tehran condemned the strikes as a violation of international law and promised to respond. The IAEA said no increase in radiation levels had been recorded outside the sites.
Armenia, which borders Iran, called for de-escalation. Yerevan said the Agarak checkpoint is operating, and citizens of various countries leaving Iran are arriving in Armenia through it.
