In the first half of the year they exceeded $516 million
Armenia's exports to European Union countries exceeded 516 million dollars in the first half of 2026, more than 80% higher than in the same period last year, the government said.
In January–June 2025 exports to the EU amounted to about 287 million dollars. Compared with the first half of 2017, when the figure was about 301 million, growth exceeds 71%.
The government links the trend to its course of deepening trade and economic ties with the European Union and expanding access for Armenian products to the European market.
At the same time Russia has restricted imports of a number of Armenian goods, citing violations of phytosanitary requirements.
