High-tech minister activates his digital identity in the imID app

Armenia's Minister of High-Tech Industry and Artificial Intelligence Davit Tadevosyan visited the office of imID and activated his digital identity in the service's new app.

The new-generation app had been officially presented a few days earlier at the TrustConf 2026 conference.

The imID team, led by chief executive Karen Mkoyan, spoke about the development of digital identification and trust services infrastructure in Armenia.

The sides discussed compliance with international standards, above all the EU's eIDAS requirements, and the integration of private solutions with state digital systems.
