Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has presented to the National Assembly the Armenian-American agreement on implementing the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP).

According to Mirzoyan, the agreement translates the political understandings between Armenia, Azerbaijan and the United States into a practical framework for implementing the regional connectivity initiative.

The project is based on the joint declaration signed in Washington on 8 August 2025. On 13 January 2026 Nikol Pashinyan and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio signed the framework document on implementing TRIPP.

The minister described the project's governance mechanisms, plans to build a railway, a highway and power lines, and the expected economic benefits and security guarantees.
