Armenian diaspora rallies worldwide in support of Artsakh
Demonstrations held in Los Angeles, Paris, Brussels and other cities
Over the weekend Armenian communities in several countries held mass rallies urging the international community to stop the war in Nagorno-Karabakh and to condemn Turkey's involvement in the conflict.
One of the largest demonstrations took place in Los Angeles, home to a large Armenian community. Participants marched to the Turkish consulate. Rallies were also held in Paris, Brussels, Lyon, Beirut, Moscow and other cities.
Fundraising continues in parallel. The Hayastan All-Armenian Fund is directing donations to help affected residents of Artsakh and the families of servicemen.
Community representatives are meeting lawmakers in their countries. In several states legislators have already issued statements calling for recognition of the right of the people of Karabakh to self-determination.
