The incident is being treated as a hate incident
Offensive flyers attacking the Armenian community were found near Glenoaks Elementary School in Glendale, California, the Los Angeles Times reports, citing the city police.
Police did not disclose the content of the flyers but said they were investigating the case as a hate incident.
"We have not established whether these materials constitute a prosecutable criminal offence. However, investigators are working to identify those responsible, their motives and whether their actions constitute a crime," the police statement said.
Glendale is home to one of the largest Armenian communities outside Armenia.
