Chelsea have won the FIFA Club World Cup, held for the first time in an expanded 32-team format. In the final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey the London club beat Paris Saint-Germain 3-0.

Cole Palmer scored twice and João Pedro once. Palmer was named player of the tournament.

US President Donald Trump attended the final and presented the trophy to Chelsea captain Reece James.

The tournament was held in the United States from 14 June. In a year's time the same stadium will host the final of the World Cup for national teams.
