Peskov reported on the topic of upcoming negotiations on Ukraine in Abu Dhabi

The upcoming trilateral negotiations on resolving the conflict in Abu Dhabi will be devoted to mutual security guarantees for Moscow and Kyiv. This was stated on November 3 by the press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, in a commentary to the Vesti TV channel, as reported by the TASS agency. The consultations will be held with the participation of representatives of Russia and Ukraine, mediated by the United States.

Peskov ruled out the possibility of European states participating in the meeting in the United Arab Emirates, emphasizing that the parties had initially agreed on a trilateral format. The Russian delegation at the negotiations will be led by Medinsky. It will include employees of various government agencies, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to the Kremlin representative, a key element of Moscow's position remains the principle of indivisibility of security. It consists in the fact that the security of one state should not be ensured at the expense of the security of another country. At the same time, all practical nuances will be the subject of discussion in a closed format.

Commenting on the meeting of Russian and Ukrainian representatives, which the US First Lady Melania Trump plans to organize on November 5, Peskov reported that there is no information about the candidate from Moscow yet. He also noted that sooner or later Russia will have to discuss the European security system with Europeans, but at the moment, Europe is taking too long to determine the circle of authorized negotiators.

In addition, Peskov touched upon the topic of the Ice Hockey World Championship, stating that in the event of the Russian national team being excluded by Germany, the international federation could easily move the tournament to another country if it wished.
