The Tokyo Olympics have ended, and Armenia's team is heading home with four medals, two silver and two bronze.

Silver went to Greco-Roman wrestler Artur Aleksanyan in the 97 kg category and weightlifter Simon Martirosyan in the 109 kg category. Bronze came from gymnast Artur Davtyan on vault and boxer Hovhannes Bachkov.

Davtyan's medal is Armenia's first Olympic medal in artistic gymnastics since independence. Aleksanyan is the Rio 2016 Olympic champion.

Five years earlier in Rio de Janeiro Armenia also won four medals, including Aleksanyan's gold.
