The Armenian government has extended two social assistance programmes for people forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh. Payments will continue into 2027.

Under the first programme assistance will be paid until June 2027: 30,000 drams a month in January–March and 15,000 drams in April–June. As of October 2026 about 46,000 people were receiving it.

Those eligible include people with first- and second-group disabilities, citizens aged 63 and over, recipients of survivor's pensions, students over 18 and children.

Since autumn 2023 Armenia has received more than 100,000 people from Karabakh. The government is also running a housing programme for the displaced.
