Aramayis Avetisyan elected executive director of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund

The Board of Trustees of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund has elected Aramayis Avetisyan as the fund's executive director. 22 board members voted for him, two abstained and no one voted against.

24 of the 29 trustees took part in the meeting. Avetisyan takes up his duties on 24 August.

In his programme the new director named as priorities strengthening organisational capacity, a culture of trust, accountability and transparency, and moving from reacting to crises to long-term strategic planning.

Strengthening ties between Armenia and the diaspora, Avetisyan said, will remain a key part of the fund's mission. He is an economist and management specialist.
