Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan addressed a plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg. He called the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan a change of "century-long, if not millennial significance".

Pashinyan recalled the joint declaration signed on 8 August 2025 in Washington with the participation of US President Donald Trump and noted the European Union's role in the peace process.

According to the prime minister, the most important change since his previous address to the European Parliament in October 2023 is that peace in the region has become a reality.

Pashinyan also spoke about Armenia's European aspirations and the parliamentary elections due in June.
