Athena Manoukian to represent Armenia at Eurovision in Rotterdam

Singer Athena Manoukian has won the Depi Evratesil national selection and will represent Armenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam. Her song Chains on You received the strongest support from the jury and viewers.
Athena Manoukian was born in Athens to an Armenian family and began her career in Greece. She has performed across Europe and worked with international producers.
The final is scheduled for 16 May. Armenia will perform in the second semi-final.
Armenia has taken part in Eurovision since 2006. Its best results are fourth place for Sirusho in 2008 and for Aram MP3 in 2014.
