The Firebird Build hackathon took place on 26–27 September at the AI9 start-up campus in Yerevan. Engineers and researchers spent 24 hours building working prototypes of AI-based products.

The event was organised by Firebird together with OpenAI, NVIDIA, Picsart, the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE), AI9 and YerevaNN. The prize fund, including API credits, totalled 105,000 dollars.

Teams worked on solutions in robotics, healthcare, environmental protection, cybersecurity and other fields. According to UATE executive director Edita Ghazaryan, more than 500 applications were received, and a team from Georgia also took part.

"Our goal is to help turn potential into new products and companies," said Firebird co-founder Alexandr Yesayan.
