The works were completed two weeks ahead of schedule
Yerevan's Kievyan Bridge has reopened to cars after repair works were completed. City Hall said the works were finished two weeks ahead of schedule.
The roadway and pedestrian areas of the bridge have been fully renovated. Expansion joints and the drainage system have been replaced, waterproofing has been carried out, and lighting cables have been laid underground.
Reinforcement and restoration of the damaged sections of the main arch and supports will continue until the end of the year without restricting traffic.
The Kievyan Bridge over the Hrazdan gorge, built in the 1950s, is one of the key transport links connecting the city centre with the Arabkir district.
