Firebird opens the region's largest "AI factory" in Hrazdan
Nikol Pashinyan and Jensen Huang spoke at the ceremony
Firebird has officially launched the region's largest artificial intelligence factory in Armenia, built on Nvidia's DSX platform. The centre is located in Hrazdan.
Speakers at the opening ceremony included Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang, US Chargé d'Affaires in Armenia David Allen and Kazakhstan's Deputy Prime Minister Zhaslan Madiyev.
According to Nvidia, the first phase of the centre was built and commissioned in just over six months. By the end of 2027 Firebird plans to deploy more than 70,000 Nvidia Blackwell and Rubin accelerators in Armenia.
The project was announced in June 2025 with an initial investment of about 500 million dollars. In November 2025 the US government approved the export of chips for it.
